In his current role, Robert is the senior executive responsible for business development, marketing and communications, specialty health programs, quality assurance, innovation and product development for Sedgwick Government Solutions.

A claims and managed care industry veteran, Robert is a proven leader with more than three decades of experience driving excellent program results, building lasting client relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance. He most recently served as an Executive Vice President of Sedgwick, overseeing the integration of acquired operations and implementation of new client programs.

Robert joined Sedgwick in 1991 and has held a wide array of roles and responsibilities within the organization including services provided to governmental entities, including the U.S. federal government.

Rob brings more than 25 years of claims, managed care, business development and consulting experience in both commercial and government contracting spaces. Prior to joining Sedgwick Government Solutions in 2016, Rob held senior operational management and business development roles with several claims and managed care organizations, including serving as Director of Operations for MCN, Assistant Vice President for Healthcare Solutions and Vice President of Sales for York Risk Services Group.

In his current role, Rob is the senior executive responsible for business development, marketing and communications, strategic partnerships, innovation and product development for Sedgwick’s Government Solutions team.

Sean is a seasoned leader with over three decades of experience in federal acquisition, government contracting and program management. He has led large health-related programs from both within and outside the government and possesses a deep understanding of procurement processes, contract management and compliance requirements. Sean served in the U.S. Army for 27 years, retiring from active duty in 2021 at the rank of colonel. Throughout his service in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps and Acquisition Corps, he provided health services administration, operational and program management expertise. He led several high-priority programs from within the Department of Defense, culminating his military career as the operational lead for therapeutics for the U.S. Government and White House COVID-19 Task Force (formerly Operation Warp Speed).

In his current role, Sean is responsible for overall leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of Sedgwick Government Solutions, with direct oversight of operations, program delivery, clinical operations, quality and training. Sean will also help us continue to expand our solutions for the government sector and further support our growth and success.

Dr. Gleeson is a leading expert in federal workers compensation and administration of limited medical benefit programs. She is board-certified in occupational medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Prior to joining Managed Care Advisors (MCA) in 2016, Dr. Gleeson held numerous leadership positions in the U.S. Navy, including as Associate Director of the occupational and environmental medicine residency program at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She also supported the Fleet Marine Force and Navy active duty and civilian personnel across operational and clinical activities, assessing occupational and environmental exposures, illnesses and injuries as part of federal workers’ compensation, employee health, force readiness and wellness programs.

Dr. Gleeson is a fellow in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and has supported the college on the Maintenance of Certification Committee, Council of Education and Academic Affairs and Task Force for Awareness and Quality Improvement.

Susan has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry — serving government agencies, employers, payers and providers. She brings deep expertise in client services, strategic account management, managed care operations, employee benefits (including workers’ compensation), and program development and evaluation.

In her current role, she has oversight responsibility for Sedgwick Government Solution’s client services, which includes account management, reporting and analytics, and consulting practice. Susan leads the client services team in our long-standing commitment to positive customer experience and client success.

Steve has over 30 years of experience in claims management with leadership roles in claim operations, workers’ compensation product development/management, procurement and regulatory compliance. As a member of the senior leadership team, he oversees provider services, including claim processing and support services, member services and call center operations, and document management for Sedgwick Government Solutions. He works closely with all business units to analyze program performance and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.

Steve transitioned to Sedgwick Government Solutions in 2022 after working at Sedgwick since 2014. His previous roles included a leadership role in Sedgwick managed care client services.

Michael oversees all technical solutions, including information technology strategy, corporate governance, risk and compliance — ensuring they support business goals and drive growth. He is dedicated to promoting effective cyber and information security policies that address resilience, insider threats and third-party risk management. Additionally, Michael is responsible for overall artificial intelligence strategy, governance and implementation.

Michael has more than 20 years of experience supporting information security requirements for the federal government, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Commerce. He is recognized as an expert in government regulations and standards, including the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Beginning his career with the U.S. Marine Corps, Michael has held notable roles in security operations and business development. He holds a master’s degree in information assurance and an MBA. He also holds numerous certifications, including the following: Certified Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), PECB: ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL v3 and v4, Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Aimee has more than 40 years of nursing experience, having spent 32 of those focused specifically on workers’ compensation case management, interfacing with FECA, FELA and private sector management.

She began her career with Managed Care Advisors (MCA) in 2005 as a telephonic case manager. Aimee has held a certification in case management since its inaugural exam in 1993.

Jo brings more than 25 years of experience in financial management in the federal markets. In her current role, Jo has oversight responsibility for financial management, budget planning and forecasting, risk mitigation and growth sustainment.

Before joining Sedgwick Government Solutions, Jo served as financial controller for a mid-sized firm providing strategic planning, acquisition management, and IT and system solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense.

Her knowledge and expertise extend to the areas of pricing, bid and proposal cost volume development, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)-incurred cost rates and government auditing compliance.
